Walpole Island First Nation Consultation and Accommodation Protocol
This Protocol sets out Walpole Island First Nation’s (WIFN) rules, under its laws and its understanding of respectful application of Canadian Law, for the process and principles for consultation and accommodation between WIFN, the Crown and Proponents, about any Activity that is proposed to occur in WIFN’s Traditional Territory or that might cause an Impact to the Environment or Health therein or WIFN Rights. WIFN expects the Crown and Proponents to respect this Protocol in all such interactions with WIFN.
